Course Outline and Method

経済学部生を対象とした必修英語科目の単位回復科目です。
The emphasis of the English program is REACH which stands for Responsibility, Environment, Awareness, Collaboration, and Humanitarianism.
In Study Skills 11, students practice reading passages of a variety of topics with a purpose of acquiring reading and critical thinking skills. They are supposed to read effectively and thoroughly the assigned passages using background knowledge, reading strategies, and appropriate tools (e.g., dictionaries). Based on the information they get from reading, they work on learning activities such as listing key points, preparing a summary, making visual organizers, pointing out issues, classifying claims, offering extra explanations, and sharing their own (critical) views in class. You are supposed to prepare for each class, submit assignments, and take quizzes and exams in accordance with your teacher’s instruction. Your teacher will provide feedback in the physical classroom or on manaba+R, depending on the activity.
このクラスは再履修クラスであり、成績評価は再履修クラスの評価基準が適用されます。そのことを承知した上で、受講登録してください。
【+R授業】詳細はmanaba+Rを参照(第7-10回で実施予定)
