Course Outline and Method

This course will help students develop a broad range of English skills as they engage with excerpts from selected documentary films. Viewing the documentaries will promote listening comprehension skills and vocabulary acquisition, as well as provide opportunities to learn about the issue or topic in focus. Students will respond critically to the documentaries they watch, both in class discussions and in follow-up writing and research activities.
