授業の概要と方法


このコースは、学生の英語読解力のさらなる向上に焦点を当てています。学生は様々なタイプのテキストに触れ、予測読解、スキミング、スキャニングといった効率的な読解スキルを習得します。特に、文章の要点を把握することに重点を置くことで、学生は次学期から期待されるよりアカデミックな学習方法に適応できるようになります。教科書の各ユニットは2つの章で構成されており、各章には主要な読解文章に加え、学生の語彙力を高めるための練習問題やアクティビティが含まれています。教科書の後半はR2で学習します。
学期を通して、学生は授業内アクティビティや課題に対して講師からフィードバックを受け、能力を伸ばしていきます。

This class will be conducted face-to-face for 12 weeks, and via Zoom for 2 weeks (Weeks 4 & 8).

Regular attendance and active participation are expected from all students. Students need to attend more than 10 class sessions to pass the course.
