授業の概要と方法

This course aims at increasing students' academic English skills as well as preparing them to take the TOEFL iBT® Test or the TOEFL ITP® Test, whose scores are often required to study abroad, especially at universities in English speaking countries. The focus of this course is placed on improving students' reading and listening skills. Students are expected to engage in intensive reading and listening exercises related to various interdisciplinary topics and acquire basic academic skills. Throughout the semester, students will receive feedback on in-class activities and assignments from the instructor in order to develop their abilities.
【＋R授業】Video On Demand(VOD)はOnline TOEIC® L&Rの受験です。第10回と第11回授業の間で6/16(月)～6/20(金)の期間にて実施予定になります。

Specific goals for this course are 1) being able to strengthen English reading and listening skills and 2) being able to improve scores on the TOEFL iBT® Test or the TOEFL ITP® Test.

Online TOEIC® L&R Test score (20%)/Active participation, quizzes, assignments, midterm test, final test and extra work (80%) //6月下旬にOnline TOEIC® L&Rテスト(IP)を全員が受験することになっており、そのスコアを評価の20%に組み込みます。Online TOEIC® L&Rテスト(IP)テスト結果スコアの換算方法は科目担当の教員から説明がありますので確認をしてください。

成績評価方法(備考)

成績評価の条件として、学期ごとに10回以上の出席が必要です。
